Kennel Grunningen is hosted on Brandbu, Norway, about one hour drive north of Oslo. We have 12 ys Experience with irish wolfhound, but our dog history goes back to 1985. Earlier breeds were newfoundlands, American Akita, Briard, Papillon and Lhasa Apso. In the later years we also have started breeding dachshounds, miniature, long- and shorthaired.
Our first IW litter were born on july 22th 1997. Until this day the kennel name has bred 10 litters.
We live close to a little lake called Grunningen. The forest with great paths is just outside our front door. In the house we live 2 adults, Tina and Tore, and 3 children. The kids are Malene(12), Finn Are(11) and Adrian(8) Two other offsprings (Hanne(23) and Hans Eirik(17) and Hannes small girl Martine(2) lives just minutes away.
Today we have 3 IWs in the house, and 4 dachshounds. But we also have 5 other IWs and one dachs around in Norway.
